October 11: Dunlop Success at SIM 2011 Exhibition France.

Dunlop Conveyor Belting experienced a very positive response from visitors to their stand at the SIM 2011 (Exposition du Congres de la Societe de L’industrie Minerale) exhibition held in Perpignan in October.

More than 250 companies from a wide cross-section of industries were represented at the exhibition.

Despite the presence of virtually all of their main competitors in the conveyor belt industry, Joel Poulin, General Manager of Dunlop’s operations in France, was delighted with the large number of visitors to the Dunlop stand. “We were kept very busy throughout all three days. Most pleasing of all was that we gained orders as a direct result of the exhibition”.

Visitors included representatives from virtually all of the biggest users of conveyors belts in France. “We had a lot of interesting meetings and also received many invitations to visit customers premises to discuss their belting needs and provide the technical advice and support”. “That has always been a very important part of the service we offer at Dunlop. When you buy Dunlop you get more than just conveyors belts” explained M. Poulin. “It was a very successful show for us and it has given us even more confidence in the future”.
