November 10: Dunlop Service opening new facility in Morocco.
Dunlop Conveyor Belting is opening a new Dunlop Service centre in Morocco as part of their rapidly growing Dunlop Service network. Centres have already been established in Holland, Spain and two in Italy (Calcio and Sicily). Another centre is shortly due to be officially opened in Poland.
The new enterprise, officially named FENNER DUNLOP MOROCCO, is located in the CASABLANCA area of ZENATA–AIN SEBAA. Their new offices, warehouse and workshop have been impressively equipped and stocked, including a significant investment in new vulcanising presses for textile and steel reinforced conveyor belts.
Apart from supplying a wide range of high-performance conveyor belts, this team of 10 dedicated specialists, will also be providing a 24/7/365 belt fitting (splicing) service throughout Morocco. In addition, they will also stock a range of conveyor components to enable them to quickly respond to virtually any kind of request from their customers.
Until now, Dunlop Conveyor Belting has been supplying industrial conveyor belting in Morocco for many years through their sales office in France and their manufacturing plant in the Netherlands.
Financial and administrative director, Khalid DROUAN, is convinced that there are significant advantages for everyone concerned. “We believe that there is an enormous demand for top quality conveyor belts and splicing services. Having our own dedicated service in Morocco is much better for our customers because we can stock the belts that they most regularly use and provide a full range of support services. It will mean that we can respond faster and more efficiently when they have an urgent need”.
Commercial and technical director Anas EL MADANI is excited by the challenges that lie ahead. “We have a very experienced team of people who I know will do a great job. Dunlop conveyor belts are famous throughout the world for their quality. We are determined to make FENNER DUNLOP MAROC a great success”.
