June 13: Dunlop local presence in Ghana
Every 3 years Munich becomes a meeting place for engineers, professionals, as well as decision makers from world’s most innovative companies. Bauma is one of the biggest industrial shows in the world and definitely the most important industrial event in Europe with over 3,400 exhibitors from 58 countries.
Dunlop Conveyor Belting, actively took part in the event as an exhibitor, presenting its innovative products made in Europe. They exhibited a suite of technologies and services offered globally. The stand showcased widely recognised Dunlop conveyer belts, all of them designed to ensure the customers' machinery is more successful and efficient while maintaining lowest possible total cost of ownership. Each sample was accompanied by touch screens offering additional information about cover qualities such as abrasion, extreme temperature and oil resistance as well as fire retardance.
“Most people do not regard rubber conveyor belts as complex or exciting. That is why we not only emphasised their general quality and exterior, but also tried to show all the invisible features and benefits of our products” said Edwin Have, Managing director of Dunlop Conveyor Belting. “This year we came up with a very interactive stand, where visitors could not only get information from our sales people, but could also investigate our products themselves through touch screens and samples, next to seeing it in operation.”
Bauma was a great success for Dunlop Conveyor Belting, not only because of the number of visitors, but because of the very positive reception and feedback from customers and visitors alike.
